What The Heck Is KISAC?

Jump To Monthly Prompts: August | September | October | November | December

Are you unsure what to do once July ends in a few days? Why not keep the energy going from the past two months but at a slower pace? Or maybe you are looking for a way to jump-start your art.

Introducing the Keep It Small Art Challenge

Join me for the Keep It Small Art Challenge (KISAC), where I give you two weekly prompts to make a small piece of art (max 4x6 or A6; medium of your choice) twice a week through the end of 2024. If you choose to complete it, at the end of this challenge, you will have 40 new pieces! This means that if you have been making art for the past 61 days in June and July, you will have completed a 100-day challenge by year-end!! CONGRATULATIONS!!

It’s time to wean yourself off the daily art, but not so much that you lose the inspiration to keep making! This is YOUR YEAR. Let’s do this - together!

How It Works

  1. Follow @michelle.schenker.art on Instagram or MichelleSchenkerArt on Facebook to be sure you don’t miss out!

  2. Make a small piece of art 2 times per week, starting August 1, 2024.

  3. I will provide two weekly prompts each weekend @michelle.schenker.art. You can use them or go off-prompt.

  4. Any medium is fair game.

  5. Share your art on Instagram with #kisac2024 and tag the IMAGE (not caption) with @michelle.schenker.art to be added to my "Tag" feed, where you can see yours and others' art!

  6. Invite friends to join in and share the #kisac graphic (below) in your stories and posts!

  7. Miss a prompt? No worries. Jump in anytime to join the fun!
